Sylvia Kwan, Founder and CEO, Kwan Henmi. Sylvia Kwan started her company 23 years ago
and, as she says, has never stopped marketing. Well
known in the Bay Area, she has chaired
the Board of Directors of San Francisco's Chamber of
Commerce and is the recipient of numerous awards
including ranking as one of the Top 100 Largest Women
Owned businesses in the Bay Area by the San Francisco
Business Times. Recognized as one of the top
architectural firms in the Bay Area, Kwan Henmi
designed the interiors for Pac Bell Park, the
expansion of the Moscone Convention Center and the
AirTrain Light Rail stations at San Francisco
International Airport.
Cindy Wilson, President, Wilson West. Cindy is President of Wilson West, an event
management specialty company that has managed over 300
events all over the world for high profile clients
like Merrill Lynch, the U.S. Department of Commerce,
and the World Presidents' Organization. Cindy started
her business 12 years ago and built her vision into a
high profile business. She says she got 95% of all
her business through referrals but realized this
wasn't enough to take her to the next level. Come
hear how she developed a new strategy to ensure
continued success.
Karen Neuburger, Owner, kn ltd. Karen launched her business in 1994 making sleepwear out of surplus sportswear material. She has been featured numerous times on Oprah since 1996 when she sent a pair of her comfortable and whimsical PJ's to Oprah herself. After Karen appeared on the "Oprah's Favorite Things" show, women fell in love with her soft, brushed cotton knit sleepwear, and Karen's business skyrocketed. Her company now ranks #5 in the San Francisco Business Times' list of the Top 100 Women-Owned Businesses in the Bay Area.

Clothilde Hewlett Attorney, Partner, Preston, Gates, & Ellis LLC. Clothilde Hewlett is a partner in the San Francisco law
firm of Preston Gates & Ellis LLP. She focuses on
assisting both private sector companies as well as
public entities performing governmental functions. Ms.
Hewlett has a distinguished career of government and
community service in the state of California, both as
a lawyer and in key leadership positions within the
state's administration. She also is in charge of
business development for her firm.
